Duane Stephenson Performs in Europe for a “Better Tomorrow”

Reggae singer FROM AUGUST TOWN, Duane Stephenson, has just released his new single and video, “Better Tomorrow.” The video was artistically shot by Ras Kassa at the famous Ward Theatre in downtown Kingston, showing the creative side of the artist. “Better Tomorrow” vividly displays his velvety voice while highlighting how he is indeed such a humanitarian. Heading to Europe for Easter, Duane Stephenson is performing a series of shows beginning April 24th, Easter Sunday in Rotterdam, Netherlands which are headlined by Vybz Kartel and Jah Cure.
The event in Rotterdam is the first-ever Rotterdam Reggae Festival, the largest reggae festival ever held in the Netherlands taking place at Ahoy a 10,000 capacity arena. Other artists on the lineup include Jah Cure,Richie Spice, Elephant Man, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Tanya Stephens & Gappy Ranks, all of whom will be backed by the Ruff Cutt band.
Additionally on April 25th, the site is Zenith in Paris, France for the first-ever Rockers Rockers Rockers Festival where Duane Stephenson shares the bill with this all-star lineup with the addition of Gyptian. And on April 26th, the Rockers Festival moves to the south of France to Le Phare, in Toulouse where the artists include Vybz Kartel, Jah Cure, Chaka Demus & Pliers, as well as Duane Stephenson.
These festival performances mark the first time the artist has appeared with Ruff Cutt in Europe. Duane Stephenson will return to Europe this summer with the Black Soil band led by Dean Fraser with performances including Germany's Summerjam festival and a coinciding tour with Tarrus Riley.
The artist is well known in The Netherlands and France after several European appearances from 2007-2010. He tours in celebration of his current VP Records release BLACK GOLD. His single "Rescue Me" a combination with Gramps Morgan has maintained a strong presence on charts worldwide with continuous rotation throughout 2011.
